Prof. Dr. Ahmet SATICI

Prof. Dr. Ahmet SATICI was born in 1962 in Şanlıurfa, Turkey. He graduated from Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine in 1988. In 1992, he completed his residency training in Ophthalmology at Dicle University Faculty of Medicine.

Between 1996 and 1999, he served as a Member of the Education and Training Coordination Board at Harran University Faculty of Medicine. In 1999, he was appointed as Vice Dean of Harran University Faculty of Medicine.

He earned the title of Associate Professor in 2002 and was promoted to Full Professor in 2009 at Harran University. He served as the Head of the Department of Ophthalmology at Harran University Faculty of Medicine from 1995 to 1999 and again from 2008 to 2013.

Between 2013 and 2015, he worked at Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital (currently Prof. Dr. Cemil Taşçıoğlu City Hospital). Throughout his academic career, he has authored 94 scientific publications and articles and has performed over 20,000 surgical procedures.
